Truth !

1.
On the black blazing coal tar
In front of the slaughter house
with the Mosque on one side
and the Temple on other
The meek
Buffalo
Weak -kneed
with chains around its neck
Standing alone
Waiting for its turn to be
slaughtered
Trying to meditate on the
Divine intonation
diffused by the tomb of the mosque
and the Temple
Allah –u- Akbar”………….
and “Aum”…………
It travels hither and yon’
through air…………..
The concoction so great,
So divine

2.
People all around
with their frail vessels
Having two oars
Olfactory or tactile
Floating on the
water of impure imagining
Running blindly
Lost in the labyrinth
of senses……………….

3.
The paper thick layer
on the feeble bone
with down cast eyes
filled with tears
Heart
almost dead
Neck
preparing to place itself
on the butchers’ block
and the rusty cleaver
Mind
failed to concentrate
and meditate upon god
Ah!
The picture of blood
dripping from its neck
and sharp pain engulfs the screen
O! The poor buffalo!

4.

Sold by his master

and prostrate with grief.

He knows he is no use

and scorns himself,
the pain of being exploited and then discarded”
is more than the pain of the rusty cleaver
brave poor buffalo………..
Dying in front of divine representation
neither Allah nor Ram
could save his rickety soul ………………

i promise....

नमस्ते यातिराजाये विवेकानंद्सुर्ये;
सचित्त सुख स्वारूपाये स्वामिने तपहारिणी :

*

Time is fleeting,

Have you not heard his steps?

The silent steps,

He is coming

Yes I have seen him coming

Oh! The giant arms ……….

**

Still I am struggling inside

the dark murky depth,

Incessantly trying to get outside,

It overpowers me

O! Gurudev

I am scared……………

***

Most of my work has been left

undone,

It seems

I just have completed

my ‘graveyard shift.

****

It is uncanny really

for it is the third time

When you came into my mind,

Last time I could vaguely

remember you in front of the pyre

and then in my woes……..

*****

But today

on the auspicious occasion

of your birthday

I will dance

My whole body will reverberate

Thy divine name

I promise…………

Happy Birthday Guru Dev ( Swami Vivekananda)

Oh! My best beloved!!!

-1-
At the stroke of midnight,
When I closed my eyes
Incessantly tried to shut
the very door of mine
And started focusing
on the center of the heart

-2-
It was not there,
I was sitting with
my hollow breast,
How eerie?

-3-
Where art thy throne?
I went everywhere for it,
While searching
I heard a huge bang on the door,
A mellifluous intonation
has attracted my mind
Ah! The poor soul….

-4-
It took me to the ocean
Full of nectar
Through the door
left ajar,
Every pore of my torso
felt the sharp sweet pain
of Cupids’ arrow
Ah! I started playing cupid

-5-
It kept my heart
hidden fathoms deep,
drenched with the elixir
of love
Oh! My best beloved
I am,

Only yours……….

magic of divine book

I retired late that evening
with vintage paper
on the frail breast,
Having thou on it.
As I was stepping towards
the dark pitch night
I heard a rhapsodic voice
macadamized the way for me
And I carried on with my walk
like a formless stupor.
I was a long way from my abode then
Barefooted, having loincloth
on the very flesh,
I was ready to cross the threshold
of my new life,
Oh!
Was it real or just a hallucination?

"Mahalaya"

I felt a beam

of light across my crown

and gradually

the imaging tree grew

on the surface

Impregnated with stars

is ready to illuminate

the whole world

"a treasure trove"

-1-
My eyes overflow with tears,
For I realized it
after so very long.
Yea, after so many days
on the midway,
When you slipped from my hand
so fast;
I found a royal mausoleum
with so many divine spirits,
‘A treasure trove’

-2-
I was taken aback
to see the Djinn,
While rubbing my skull
with powerful muse;
“Your wish is my command”
He replied………
And
I got outside the box then,
flying onto the cosmos with him.

-3-
Energy grew in abundance
on me,
Every pore of mine
became a magnet then;
I,
The flamboyant magician
Enjoying the nature all around
with the help of my djinn.

-4-
He has gifted me,
New eyes
for imaging,
New ears to hear
the silence of nature
so real,
New heart
to feel the power of “THE ONE”
yea the power of The One………….

“An abandoned house”

Last night

In the growing sense

of disenchantment,

I got outside my abode;

For it was filled with venom,

Breathing poisonous fumes all over me;

How eerie,

My job was just a slave labor;

I was mere a cage bird there,

Moaning and groaning

‘Oh ‘, the filthy cage

made up of tears.

I can hear a voice of yearning

For Mithya,

I can see

the concoction of dirt and desire

behind me,

“An abandoned house”

And enjoying my true nature

in the brahmamuhurta,

Walking on the Elysian ‘field

with scattering lights of the sun.
